Individual volunteer opportunities on the build site

Help make dreams of homeownership a reality for hardworking, low-income families in our new home construction builds. Volunteers assist with framing, siding, flooring, trimming, painting, installing doors and windows, landscaping and more! No experience is needed. Our construction managers will teach you anything you need to know on site. Construction volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.

Habitat strives to accommodate everyone interested in volunteering at our build sites, but opportunities can be limited based on where we are in the build process.

To get connected, call the Habitat office at 641.828.8844.

Group volunteer opportunities on the build site

A team volunteer day is a great way for businesses to build employee engagement or for club members to connect in a fun and rewarding experience. Ideal groups have between 6 and 12 volunteers.

To schedule a team volunteer day, call the Habitat office at 641.828.8844.

Due to the high demand for and limited amount of volunteer opportunities, we ask businesses wanting a volunteer experience to also make a financial contribution.
